On April 5, a conference was held in the headquarters of ICE (Arroyo de la Encomienda, Valladolid) within the framework of the EU Industry Week focused on the regional Digital Innovation Hubs as an instrument to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.
The president of the AEI in Cybersecurity, Tomás Castro, presented the Cybersecurity Hub, whose creation is promoting this cluster, with the support of ICE and INCIBE.
To the conference attended Fernando Valdés, Deputy Director General of Digitalization of the Industry and Collaborative Environments of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness; which explained, between many other things, the keys of DIH, highlighting the importance of having industrial SMEs within their ecosystem; that are financially sustainable without exclusive public financing; that are not limited to a regional scope, but national and European Union; and that there are not several DIH on the same subject, but one for each area and located in a single region, but working at the national / European level. All those aspects are aligned with the Cybersecurity Innovation Hub.
